Static calculation of a robotically operated rack. The rack is made of thin-walled steel profiles. Its height is approx. 20.6 m, width 5.5 m. We have statically verified many similar structures, all of which have similar characteristics:
- The entire structure is exclusively bolted, with almost no welding.
- There is considerable customer pressure on the weight and price of the structure.
- Most structures are also analysed dynamically, and seismic analysis is performed.
- Static calculation is always geometrically non-linear.
- Location of buildings – various EU countries and the USA
- The static model represents only a section of the actual structure, which is usually much longer, and many of these structures stand side by side.
